Vaz Dhani Wilson, OTD, OTR/L, CBIS, RYT

Owner & Founder of Full Moon Peds / Occupational Therapist / OT Skills Group Leader

Vaz is originally an Indianapolis native and has been residing in RVA since July 2021. She graduated with her Doctor in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and completed her Bachelor of Science at Indiana University. She has also completed certifications for Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and sensory-motor approaches including Finding Safety & Stability and the Astronaut Training Protocol by Vital Links.

Vaz has worked in various pediatric settings including in-home and outpatient therapy, therapeutic day schools, and community-based mental health. She has also worked with adults in an inpatient rehab hospital, which further developed her skills to treat across the lifespan. Her experience prior to OT includes working in a children’s learning center & preschool as a teaching assistant. She has always felt “at home” in pediatric settings and enjoys working with youth of all ages.

Vaz is passionate about embracing neurodiversity, affirming LBGTQ+ and ethnoculturally-diverse youth, and practicing trauma informed careespecially since she has lived personal experiences in all of these areas as an AuDHD & South Asian-American woman. She aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment for her clients with emphasis on collaboration, connection, and empathy as a priority. She especially enjoys implementing sensory integration, executive functioning, self-care & independent living, and motor skills in her OT sessions. Outside of work, you can usually find Vaz out in nature or going on adventures with her husband and 2 pups!

Katy Nowlin, MS, QMHP-C 

Administrative Coordinator / Mental Health & Developmental Specialist

Katy is an RVA native who lives in Midlothian with her two children. She received her BS in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her MS in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development through Southern New Hampshire University. Katy is also currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the College of William & Mary. She has received training in several therapeutic modalities, including Infant Massage Education and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Katy is registered through the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child (QMHP-C). 


Katy spent 5 years working in the field of Early Intervention supporting infants and toddlers with developmental delays. She has served as a clinic facilitator for interdisciplinary autism evaluations. She has also worked as a Case Manager for children and adolescents in the community mental health setting for children of all ages.


Katy has lived experience both as a late-identified neurodivergent adult (AudHD) and as the parent of a neurodivergent child. They are passionate about advocating for neurodiversity-affirming approaches for children and adults of all ages. Other passion areas include promoting disability rights, educational advocacy, autistic joy, and supporting queer and trans youth. 

Holly Timberline, OTR/L, CEIM

Holly is dedicated to transforming her clients’ lives and has a special passion for supporting children & families dealing with traumatic stress. She prioritizes clear, compassionate collaboration with both caregivers and providers. With an ever-growing repertoire of playful and engaging treatment strategies, she creates an environment where healing and growth can flourish. 

Holly is a trained provider of the Safe and Sound Protocol by Integrated Listening Systems (iLs); a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM); and a candidate for endorsement as an Infant Mental Health Specialist through the Virginia Association for Infant Mental Health. She has also completed training in: Autism, pediatric feeding, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), sensory-integrative processing and nervous-system regulation, relationship-oriented interventions, play-based interventions, sound-based therapies, visual perception, craniosacral therapy, and more! This breadth of knowledge allows her to fine-tune her child-centered, trauma-responsive approach. She draws from a robust research base that includes attachment theory, polyvagal theory, interpersonal neurobiology, neuroscience, and her comprehensive OT education. 

A devoted supporter of the advancement of pediatric practice, Holly served for six years on the board of the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association and continues to volunteer for the organization as possible. Holly is the editor of two books: The Connected Therapist: Relating Through the Senses, and Raising Kids with Big, Baffling Behaviors: Brain-Body-Sensory Strategies that Really Work.

Lindsey Carter, OTD, OTR/L, QMHP-C

Occupational Therapist / Teen Skills Group Leader

Lindsey is originally from Kentucky and moved to Virginia in 2011 to begin college before falling in love with the state. She has a BS in Health Promotion from Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg), MOT from James Madison University, and OTD from Quinnipiac University. Lindsey is registered as a QMHP-C and has training in trauma-informed care, rhythmic movement, and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP).

Lindsey additionally works as an Occupational Therapist at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC), where she has worked to meet the mental health needs of children across the state. She also has experience working at a therapeutic boarding school and in specialized schools for children with autism. When not working, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and dog, horseback riding, crafting, and seeing live music.

Lindsey's passion lies in preparing teenagers for the transition to adulthood through community programming and connection, as well as addressing executive functioning deficits that are impacting school, work, and home engagement. She aims to build autonomy, competence, and self-determination with her clients using a trauma-informed, affirming lens.

Crystal Stokes, QMHP-AC, QMRP 

Therapeutic Mentor / Teen Skills Group Leader

Named a community “sHERoe” by Her Collective of Richmond, Virginia. Crystal Stokes has made a name for herself within the local community. She ran a successful farming program, Frank Community Farm, for 6 years where she and her team offered employment training and jobs to neurodivergent adults. 


With a B.A. in Theatre and M.S. in Psychology Crystal offers a creative, collaborative, and exciting mentoring, parent and behavior coaching experience, while also giving her families and mentees respect, acceptance, patience and a listening ear. Crystal strives to assist children and adolescents to develop coping skills to navigate some of the most challenging life circumstances. Over the past 10 years she has played a huge role in many success stories. 


Crystal is exceptionally skilled in facilitating team meetings and incorporating education and learning into fun and engaging activities. Crystal is queer and Neurodivergent and offers a safe space for clients with similar backgrounds to be themselves. During her free time Crystal likes to spend time playing or hiking with her two dogs, playing the drums, farming, and drinking ungodly amounts of tea.
